Shhilpi Sinha

Biography

 An Architect, Urban Designer by profession and an Academician by choice.I completed my Bachelor’s in Architecture from TVB School of Habitat Studies, Vasant Kunj, Delhi in 1995 and my Masters in Architecture with Specialization in Urban Design from the School of Planning and Architecture, (SPA) New Delhi in 1998. In an academic career spanning 16 years, I have been associated as a visiting faculty and design jury at architecture colleges in Mumbai, Chennai & Delhi (Pillais’ College of Architecture, SPA, Delhi, Jamia Millia Islamia, USAP Delhi, SRM College of Architecture-Chennai, MSAJ College of Architecture- Chennai, Bharath University- Chennai) ). I have also been an active urban designer. Having started my career with Architect Gautam Bhatia and Romi Khosla, I have been associated with Edifice (Mumbai) as a Consultant on their Urban Design projects. I have also worked with Prof. AGK Menon on Local Area Planning (LAP) through INTACH . Lately I was involved in a Proposal for the Smart City of Imphal in the capacity of an Advisor. Having been a visiting faculty and teaching design to Bachelors and Masters students at my alma mater School of Planning & Architecture, Delhi along with Jamia Milia Islamia and Amity University, I am now a Professor at School of Architecture and Planning, Sharda University at their Greater Noida Campus.
