Biography
Dr. Mahesh Akhegaonkar completed his MBBS from the University of Pune in 1997. He thereafter took up post-graduate training in psychiatry at K.E.M. hospital, Pune and attained Diploma in Psychological Medicine (DPM) in 1999. Dr. Akhegaonkar went to the United Kingdom (UK) for further training and successfully got the Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych). He further completed a Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry in the United Kingdom. During his stay abroad Dr. Akhegaonkar worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in various hospitals and has been involved in academic activities.
