Biography
Post Doc., PhD Genetics, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi; M Sc Genetics,Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi; BSc Agriculture, Panjab University Chandigarh, 1969 He has also assessed the genetic diversity in horticultural crops using molecular markers. His research interest has seen him study virus tested bud wood bank in apple using meristem culture and ELISA testing, and development of in-vitro conservation protocols for some rare plant genetic resources. He has played an important role in transfer of technology in hill states of NW Himalaya. He has authored two books and published over 170 research papers.sor
