Biography
A former Chief Scientist at Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute, Pilani, Prof Virdi has over 40 years experience in teaching and research. Prof Virdi specializes in the design and technology of VLSI devices and nano-particle based lab-on-chip devices. Besides being a life member of several professional bodies and recipient of several fellowships and awards, Prof Virdi has also served as the project leader in several government funded research projects. Prof Virdi was on deputation to countries like USA, UK and Finland on projects related to Advanced Ion Implantation Techniques and Nanoparticles based Micro Total Analysis Systems.
