Awards &Honours: Merit Holder in M.Sc. Botany at Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla (HP) (2008) Merit Holder in M.Phil. Botany at Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla (HP) (2009) Life member of Botanical survey of India, Dehradun. Life Member of Him Science Congress.

Academic / Research Areas: Weed management through allelopathy Plant stress physiology with emphasis on secondary metabolites and enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants. Carbon sequestration Plant Tissue Culture Plant Taxonomy and Plant Systematics Indian Traditional Knowledge with emphasis on Ethnobotany Molecular Biological Techniques: DNA , RNA and Protein isolation, Electrophoresis.
