Biography
Dr. Md. Afroze Alam is M.Pharm from Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS) and PhD (Pharmaceutical Sciences) from Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Shoolini University, Solan. He has been exposed to recent synthetic chemistry, characterization, phytochemistry and analytical techniques. He has published his research work in peer reviewed journals like Medicinal Chemistry Research, Indian Journal of Heterocyclic Chemistry, RGUHS Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Phytochemistry and so on. He has guided 20 masters and 10 graduate students. He is presently guiding 2 PhD’s and 3 masters in the faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Dr. Afroze Alam is well versed with interpretation of NMR, MS, IR, UV spectra and handling of instruments such as NMR, HPLC, HPTLC, UV, IR, etc. He has filed one patent on potential anti-cancer agents, isolated from natural sources.
