Biography
Dr. Pathare has M.A., LL.B. & Ph.D. from University of Pune and qualified UGC conducted NET & SET examinations. His topic for doctoral research was “Personality of Criminals a Study Employing Eysenckian and Five-Factor Model. He has started his career as Lecturer in 1996 from Modern college of Arts, Commerce and Science and currently working in the SNDT Women’s University as Head and Associate Professor since 2007. His total teaching experience is 20 Years at Post graduate level. Along with teaching he had been a Member of Management Council, Senate, Finance and Account committee, Student Welfare Committee, Board of Studies of SNDT Women’s University.
Research Interest
Eight Ph.D. students are working under his guidance with a variable Emotional Intelligence. He has participated and presented more than 25 National and International seminar/workshops/ conferences. His two books on counselling and Assessment has been published by Indira Gandhi National Open University. He has constructed standardized Scale of Emotional Intelligence. More than 20 Research papers are published in National and International Journals. He is founder member of Indian Positive Psychology Association, Delhi. He delivered more than 500 special lectures at college and community level as well as conducted training workshops in various institute such as Tata Institute for Social Science, Centre for Studies in Rural Development, SNDT college of Education, Maheyshwari vidya Prasarak Samaj Hostel etc. He is practising counsellor and motivational speaker for last 20 years. For more than 1000 clients he had taken counselling sessions.
