(Bachelor of Law) University of Pune, Pune, 2013 HIGHLIGHTS OF PROFESSIONAL CAREER ï‚· Completed Ph. D. on Watershed Management in general and Soil Erosion Modeling in particular. ï‚· Experience as a ‘Junior Field Assistant’ in a project titled ‘National Ambient Air Quality Monitoring’ sponsored by CPCB, at School of Environmental Sciences, UoP. ï‚· Undergone basic training to operate geodetic receivers at Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (IIG), Mumbai and worked in the project on Crustal Deformation Studies using Global Positioning System (GPS). ï‚· Participated in 8-week (NNRMS) sponsored course in Remote Sensing and GIS Applications to Water Resources at Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, (IIRS), Dehra Dun. ï‚· Successfully completed One Orientation Course and Three Referesher courses from Academic Staff College, University of Pune, Pune. ï‚· One Week ICT In Higher Education S.N.D.T.Women’s University Mumbai, in collaboration with Commonwealth of Learning ACADEMIC /TEACHING EXPERIENCE ï‚· Professor, Department of Geography, S.N.D.T. Research Interest

Completed a Minor Research Project entitled ‘Evaluation of soil erodibility and Associated landuse/ landcover in Bhama Watershed using Digital Technology’, funded by University Grants Commission, New Delhi (2000 – 2002)  Completed a Research Project titled ‘Khed Information System’ funded by Board of College and University Development (B.C.U.D.), University of Pune, Pune (2006 – 2008).  Major Research Project at present entitled ‘The quantitative evaluation of soil erosion: A case study of upper Bhima Basin’ funded by University Grants Commission, New Delhi (2013 – 2015). GUIDANCE:  Four students completed Ph.D. and six completed M. Phil. in the field of Climatology, Agriculture Geography, Soil Science, Bio-geography, Medical Geography, Population Geography etc.  Four students are working for Ph.D. at present One book on Soil Erosion Modelling and Twenty Four research articles published in Journals, Proceedings and edited Books.
