Biography
Dr. Goeken, M.D. serves as Chief Medical Officer of Somahlution. He joined the company in January of 2013 and is a veteran in designing and managing global clinical studies for biologics and devices in various therapeutic areas. He received his M.D. from St. Christopher’s College of Medicine in the UK, having completed his clinical training at LSU Health Sciences Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Following the completion of his medical training, he joined The Methodist Hospital Research Institute in Houston where he worked as a Medical Research Manager. He then went on to work at Pharm-Olam International, also in Houston, where he was responsible for Medical Affairs and Global Pharmacovigilance, as well as Safety Database Systems, and was involved in global clinical studies. In 2010 Dr. Goeken moved to Pennsylvania, as Vice President of Clinical and Medical Affairs at Nuron Biotech, responsible for advancing multiple therapeutic international programs through the clinic.
