Trained at some of the finest hospitals in India, Canada and Germany, he is one of the very few Neurosurgeons in the country with specialised orthopaedic spine training for correction of scoliosis/ spinal deformities in adults and children.Dr. Jacob Eapen Mathew is the first spine surgeon in South India to perform lumbar cortical screw fixation and percutaneous Ilio-sacral screw fixation procedures.
