Biography

Appointed as Deputy Principal of St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous) Kolkata since 1st July, 2017. Awarded Ph.D by University of Burdwan: Title of the Thesis “Impact of WTO on Indian Agricultural Trade: A pre and post WTO situations on 19th November, 2008. Appointed as Vice-Principal in the Department of Commerce and Business Administration of St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous) Kolkata since 1st February, 2009. Appointed as Rector of St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous) Kolkata since 2nd December, 2013. President of the Managing Committee of St. Xavier`s School Vice-president of the Governing Body of St.Xavier`s College and the BOS Chairman of Commerce department. Engaged in Extension Activities namely involved in the Village and College Project of PRAYAS. Appointed as a Member of Managing Committee of four schools and a Research Institute. Appointed as Convener of Calcutta Jesuit Province Education Committees. Appointed as Managing Committee Members of St. Lawrence, H.S. Kolkata, St. Xavier’s School, Haldia, St. Xavier’s School, Burdwan and St. Xavier’s School, Durgapur and Governing Body Member of Goethals Research Centre and St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
