Biography
A student of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, Indranil Bose secured First position with First Class marks in both B.A. and M.A. examinations under the Calcutta University. A recipient of National Scholarships and the Jubilee Prize, he was awarded an International Fellowship by Rotary International to participate in a Group Study Exchange Programme in Texas, USA in 1995. He joined the Faculty at St. Xavier’s in 1994, and served as Head of the department between January 2006 and June 2009. He has participated at various national and international seminars and his current research interests include Political Theory, Political Economy and International Relations. Presently he is serving the department of Political Science as Associate Professor and is also the President of the Xaverian Debating Society.
