Biography
Jhumpa Mukherjee, MA (Gold Medalist), PhD (University of Burdwan), is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science, St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights from the Indian Institute of Human Rights, New Delhi. She has authored a number of articles on contemporary social and political issues in national journals. Her research interests include South Asian Politics, Contemporary Indian Politics and Human Rights.
