Biography
Dr. Shoma Choudhury Lahiri has completed her Ph. D from the Department of Sociology, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. Her doctoral work was on the People’s Science Movement in Kerala. She teaches papers on Social Stratification and Social Mobility, Social Challenges, Introducing India. Her research interests lie in the field of Sociology of Social Movements, Sociology of Science and in the Sociology of Youth.
