Biography
Studied in St Xavier’s Collegiate School, Kolkata (1976- 1986). Completed Higher Secondary (1986-1988) and Graduation (1988-1991) from St Xavier’s College, Kolkata. Joined Delhi School of Economics to complete M.A (1991- 1993) in Economics. Took Econometrics tutorials in Delhi School of Economics (1993- 1994) and taught both Economics and Mathematics to the 23rd batch of Indian Economic Service officers. Joined Hindu College, Delhi as a lecturer (1994-1995) and then moved to B. R. Ambedkar College, Delhi (1995-1997). Finally joined the Dept of Economics, St Xavier’s College, Kolkata from 1st November, 1997 and was awarded Ph.D (Calcutta University) on 23/12/2013. Also teaching in the MBM dept (CU).
