Prior to joining Cipla, he was associated with the Optimal Strategix Group, Redwood City, CA as EVP, Managing Partner. There he was leading the life science consulting practice for the company leveraging proprietary decision insights and research approaches. Previously he was the EVP of Commercial Operations and CEO Asia for Adamas Pharmaceuticals, CEO of Geneos Ltd., President of Glycominds Ltd., CEO of DNA Sciences and a Division President at Monsanto. Prior to his career at Monsanto, Steve worked for McKinsey & Co. and P&G. Steve has built businesses in the US, Finland, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico and Singapore and created several international JVs. He has been building biopharmaceutical and biosimilar businesses since 1995. Steve has done his MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, Boston, MA.
