Biography
Pooja joined Strand in 2013 with 14 years of research experience in cancer biology, stem cell biology and aging and is now part of the team that oversees the Strand clinical diagnostic operations. Prior to this, Pooja worked in Strand’s translational clinical research team that designed and validated next-generation sequencing assays for Strand’s diagnostic offerings. She obtained her PhD. from Brown University, Rhode Island, in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Biochemistry and pursued her postdoctoral training at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging, California.
