Biography
Mr. Ashwin Dani holds the position of non-executive Vice Chairman of Asian Paints Limited. Earlier, he was Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Asian Paints from December 1998 to March 2009. He is also a member of the Board at ACC Limited. He started his career in 1967 as a developmental chemist with Inmont Corp (now BASF), Detroit, USA, a major supplier of automotive OEM and refinishes. He joined Asian Paints in 1968 as Senior Executive and moved through successive senior positions such as Director-R&D, Works Director, and Whole-time Director & Vice Chairman.
