Biography
Dr. Neetu Mishra has obtained M.Sc. (Applied Biochemistry) in 2000 from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, M.P. and Ph.D. (Medical Biochemistry) in 2005 from G.R. Medical College, Jiwaji University, Gwalior, M.P. She has 10 years of Teaching and Research experience of Post Graduate and undergraduate students at various Institutes including Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur, and College of Life Sciences, Gwalior, M.P., India. She has published and presented number of papers at various National and International Conferences. Supervised 12 Students for dissertation project. Worked on biochemical profiling of gall bladder cancer, oral cancer, Lung cancer, cervix, Larynx and Buccal mucosa cancer patients” at Cancer Hospital & Research Institute Gwalior. It is a Regional Cancer Centre funded by the Government of India in Gwalior. Currently two PhD students registered under her guidance. Her area of interest is oxidative stress and nutraceuticals. Vitamin D and cardiovascular risk, Currently working on premature ageing in Type 2 Diabetes mellitus, Anti ageing, antidiabetic and hypolipidemic effects of some plant extracts on animal model.
