Biography
Rajiv Chandan is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and has a masters' degree in commerce and a law degree from the University of Mumbai. Mr Chandan heads the legal, company secretarial and corporate governance functions at Tata Chemicals. He has 25 plus years of experience in the areas of legal, company secretarial, corporate laws, litigations, corporate governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions and divestments, including cross-border M&A transactions. His experience is spread across diverse industries, including the paper, automobiles, logistics, cement, chemicals, FMCG and fertiliser sectors. Before joining Tata Chemicals, he was vice president – legal and company secretary, Lafarge Cement, India.
