Biography

Mr. Rajesh Gopinathan, PGDM, has been the Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director and Executive Director at Tata Consultancy Services Limited since February 21, 2017. Mr. Gopinathan served as the Chief Financial Officer of Tata Consultancy Services Limited since February 10, 2013 until February 21, 2017 and served as its Vice President. He served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Tata Consultancy ServicesLimited from October 19, 2012 to February 2013. He served as Executive officer of Finance and Senior Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services Limited. Mr. Gopinathan has over 11 years of experience and was previously employed at Tata Industries Ltd. He serves as Chairman of the Board at Tata ConsultancyServices Japan, Limited. In 2014, Mr. Gopinathan was awarded the “Young Alumni Achiever's Award” under “Corporate Leader” category from IIM, Ahmedabad. He is an Electrical and electronic engineer from REC Trichy (now NIT, Trichy), graduated in 1994 and his Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM, Ahmedabad
