Biography
Ms Mallika Srinivasan joined Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited (TAFE) in 1985 and is presently its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. She has spearheaded TAFE’s growth to its present status as the third largest tractor manufacturer in the world.Ms Srinivasan has been conferred the Business Woman of the Year Award by The Economic Times in 2005-06, the IIM Lucknow Lakshmipat Singhania Award for National Leadership in 2005, and was one of the 125 influential alumnae selected by the Wharton School of Business at its 125th anniversary in 2007. In 2010, Ms Mallika Srinivasan was conferred the Entrepreneur of the Year - Manufacturing award by Ernst & Young. More recently, she was ranked among India’s 50 most powerful women in business by Fortune Magazine and as one of Asia’s 50 power businesswomen by Forbes Asia magazine. She currently serves on the board of AGCO Corporation (USA), TATA Global Beverages Limited and the Indian School of Business (ISB).
