Biography
Mr. Bajpai, also known as Dev, has been a Company Secretary and Compliance Officer at Hindustan Unilever Limited since June 1, 2010 and also serves as its Executive Director of Legal & Corporate Affairs. Mr. Bajpai serves as Vice President of Legal and Company Secretary of Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces Ltd. He is responsible for the Legal function of the Taj Group. Mr. Bajpai serves as Senior Director of Legal & Compliance with ICICI Venture, is a qualified legal professional and a Company Secretary. He has 22 years of experience in different organizations including Maruti Udyog Ltd. He served as Vice President of Legal and Company Secretary of The Indian Hotels Company Limited from February 16, 2006 to November 19, 2007 and served as its Compliance Officer from February 16, 2006 to March 2008. He has over 18 years of experience in Legal Affairs, Corporate Affairs and Taxation. He served as Company Secretary and General Manager of Legal at Marico Limited and served as its Compliance Officer and Head of Legal until February 23, 2006. He served in the Automobile, Consumer Durables and Fast Moving Consumer Goods sectors. He has been Director of Hindustan Unilever Limited since January 23, 2017. He serves as a Director of Unilever Nepal Limited and Bhavishya Alliance Child Nutrition Initiatives. He serves as a Director of Banaras Hotels Ltd. and Taj Investment & Finance Co. Ltd.
