Biography
Alok Adholeya is a mycorrhizologist and bio-diesel expert. He is currently the Director of the Biotechnology and Management of Bioresources Division at The Energy and Resources Institute in New Delhi, which he joined in 1986. Dr Adholeya has significant experience and expertise in soil fertility, soil and plant microbiology, nutrient cycling, bioremediation using microbes and plants, bio-fuels, mass production technology for mycorrhizae biofertilizer using transformed root organ cultures, molecular characterization and commercialization of mycorrhizal biofertilizers.
