Biography
Mr. Pradeep Kumar is a Civil Engineer with specialization in Building Technology & energy systems from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He has more than 25 years of experience in working on projects related to optimizing energy use in existing buildings and designing sustainable habitats. He coordinated energy audit of commercial buildings, which includes onsite measurements of the performance of building components and systems, developing energy management programs, reviewing building design for energy efficiency, studying indoor air quality, and installing buildings components and systems.
Research Interest
Currently, he is involved in research related to the design & optimization of energy systems along with envelope efficiency using advanced simulation techniques; integrating natural lighting and renewable energy systems.
