Education: 2008 : Ph.D. in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology,Depart. of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India. 2003 :M.Sc. (1st class) in Inorganic Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, Vidyasagar University, West Bengal, India. 2001 :B.Sc. (1st class) in Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, Midnapur College, West Bengal, India.
Research Interest
Research Interest: Size and Shape controlled synthesis of metal, metal oxide, clay nanoparticles and their nanocomposites. Study the optical properties of quantum dots and nanoparticles and their application in sensing/biosensing. Catalysis/photocatalysis by nanomaterials. Synthesis of micro-nanostructure high surface area porous metal electrodes and monoliths.
