Biography
Bhuvanesh Gupta is a professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He is working in the field of fiber and polymer science. He is directing a group of scientists and students dedicated to the field of biomedicine and biotextiles. After the post-doctoral assignment at Paris, he has been associated with the fiber and polymer scientific positions in different laboratories in Europe. Prof. Gupta joined Indian Institute of Technology at New Delhi, India in 1996. The activities of the group involve designing and the development of polymers for biomedical applications. Prof. Gupta has been the member of several professional societies, including the President of Asian Polymer Association, Secretary of Fiber Forum India. He is the member of task force on Bioengineering of DBT, Government of India.
