Biography
Dr. Javed Nabibaksha Sheikh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Textile Technology at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. He has completed his B.Tech., M.Tech. and Ph.D. (Tech.) in Fibres and Textile Processing Technology from I.C.T. (Earlier known as UDCT), Mumbai. He is an Associate of Society of Dyers and Colorists (U.K.). He has worked with textiles and chemical industries like Auro Textiles, Pidilite Industries, Rossari Biotech Limited. He has teaching experience of 2 years with the reputed institutes like V.J.T.I. and I.C.T., Mumbai. He has been awarded with Early career research award of Department of Science and Technology (D.S.T.) and is also selected as UGC-Assistant Professor (Engineering science) in UGC-Faculty Recharge Programme. He has published several research papers in different international and national journals. He holds membership of various professional bodies like Textile association of India (life member), Indian society of Natural fibres (Life member) and Society of Dyers and Colorists (Voting member). He is also a reviewer for various reputed textile/polymer journals.
