Biography
Yashpal’s research interest lie at the intersection of social and political psychology. He is particularly interested in studying how people experience (e.g. stigma, discrimination, stereotype threat, shame, rejection, humiliation) and manage/challenge (e.g. by engaging in false consciousness, individual mobility, social creativity, collective action) the issues arising from devalued identity.
