Dr Prachi

Biography

Dr Prachi has around six years of teaching experience at both postgraduate and undergraduate level. She has completed her Ph.D. thesis in the area of Wireless Sensor Network at Banasthali University, Rajasthan. She has done her M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Banasthali University, Rajasthan in the year 2009 with honors. She has done her industrial training with ST Microelectronics, Greater Noida and completed three live projects for partial fulfillment of her M.Tech degree. She has completed her B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from M.D. University, Rohtak in the year 2007. She specializes in Computer Network and Programming courses. She had guided 5 M.Tech Thesis and 8 B.Tech Projects. Her area of research interest includes Wireless Sensor Networks and Security Issues in Wireless Sensor Networks. She is author of 26 refereed articles in these areas, 14 in peer reviewed, reputed international journal indexed in international databases and 12 in IEEE and Springer indexed International Conferences. She is a member of team responsible for setting up of CISCO Academy. Dr. Prachi is departmental coordinator for National Board of Accreditation. Further, she is certified in Usable Security and Software Security from University of Maryland. Dr. Prachi is also working as Editorial Board member of International Journal of Computer Network & Applications and program committee member of many IEEE Conferences.
