Dr Vijendra Singh

Biography

ngh Vijendra received his PhD (2013) degree in Engineering and M Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, India. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the department of computer science and engineering at The NorthCap University, Gurugram, India. He has over 14 years of extensive experience in IT Industry and Academics in India. Prior to joining the NCU, he worked with Mody University, Lakshmangarh (2005-2015) and Asian CERC Information Technology Ltd (Now Dion Global Solutions). Dr. Singh major research concentration has been in the areas of Data Mining, Pattern Recognition, Image Processing, Big Data and Soft Computation. He has more than 30 scientific papers in this domain. He was the project team member of Order Routing and Risk Management System for stock exchange, Bombay, India. He was selected for Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, 2011 and received IBM Edu Leader Award. Singh Vijendra is a member of ISTE, IEEE, and ACM. He has interaction with professional institutions including, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, KIIT, Bhubaneswar and Accenture, India. Presently he is guiding PhD scholars at The NorthCap University.
