Biography
Prof. Sadhna Sahni has over 25 years of experience in teaching & research in institutions of repute in India and abroad. After completing MA (Eco) in 1979 as a distinguished Merit scholar from Delhi School of Economics, she started her career in academics as a Lecturer in Ramjas College, University of Delhi and continued until 1989. She again worked as Lecturer at SGGS College of Commerce, University of Delhi, for two years during 1990 – 92. She has been associated with ‘Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research’ during 1989 – 90 and again for 3 years during 1992-95. Some of her research projects included Govt. projects as ‘Privatization of Communication, Electricity and Water in Kuwait’, ‘Fiscal constraints, cost efficiency of social services & evaluation of user charges’ and ‘Industrial incentives to GCC’. She also conducted feasibility studies and was actively involved in Development studies for Arid land Agriculture in Kuwait.
