Biography
Prof. Pabitra Chattopadhyay is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Department of Chemistry, The University of Burdwan , India. His research interests includes Development of new chemo sensors for biologically active ions, Design of new chelating ligands for synthesis and characterization of transition metal ions’ complexes of biolo gical activity including study interaction of complexes with CT - DNA and serum albumin , analytical application ; and biodistribution study of new complexes to explore new radiopharmaceuticals, Synthesis and characterization of new nanoparticles and functional nanomaterials for exploring analytical, catalytic and biological applications, Design of solid phase extractors to achieve new materials to be used in analytical and radioanalytical fields. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Prof. Pabitra Chattopadhyay is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities.
