Achievements: 2007-10: Student scholarship from ATREE-NORAGRIC PhD program and Small grant from NORAGRIC. 2009: Best poster award for the research on “Effect of habitat characteristics, animal abundance and canopy discontinuity on pre dispersal seed predation of Myristica dactyloides, in Southern Western Ghats “- 5th International Canopy conference- IISc Bangalore. 2008: Travel grants received from Annual Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation- to attend ATBC -Asia-Pacific Chapter conference held in Kuching Malaysia. 2006: Rufford Small Grants for “Identifying biological constraints in natural regeneration of native tree species in abandoned tea and coffee plantation of the Western Ghats, India” (http://www.ruffordsmallgrants.org/rsg/projects/chetana_h_c).
