Biography

Achievements: 1. Completion of 22 years of service in Teaching, Research and community outreach activities 2. Instrumental in conceptualizing and developing MSc., Programme on Herbal Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs formally launched on 4th May 2017 at TDU 3. Instrumental in sanction of the projects from National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB)and Government of Karnataka by extending necessary technical support to Karnataka Forest Department (KFD) right from conceptualization and development of the projects to implementation of the projects 4. Instrumental in fetching 3 times market value to the Village Forest Committee(VFC) for sustainably harvested Sapindus emarginatus under the NMPP-KFD Value Addition Project in April-May 2017 5. Successfully guided 2 Intern students from Gurugobind Singh Indraprashta University, Delhi and 3 BE students from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore at TDU and more than 200 PG and UG students of Biotechnology, Applied Zoology and Lifescinecs for both internal and External projects at Brindavan College, Bangalore and Kuvempu University, Shankarghatta
