Biography
Dr. Mithua Ghosh is the Director of Research and Development of Triesta Sciences, Health Care Global (India). An accomplished cancer biologist with over 20+ years of academic and corporate experience and expertise in fields of cancer biology, molecular pathology and Genomics, diagnostics, translational research, stem cell research and target based drug discovery. After her PhD, she pursued post-doctoral studies at Wright State University, Dayton on cancer biology. Her research skills were further honed at Terry Fox Labs, Vancouver where she studied the role of cancer stem cells in Chronic Myeloid Leukemia . A Gold medallist in her post graduate, Dr. Ghosh was awarded for xcellence in Biomedical Research as a Post-Doctoral at Wright State University. During last few years Mithua had led Research and development groups at different corporate and pharma sectors like Bangalore Genei, Sanmar Specialty Chemicals, Syngene International Ltd., Biocon, and Jubilant Biosys in Bangalore, India.
