Garg Anant

Biography

Anant Garg is the Director Human Resource at Eli Lilly & Company India. He is responsible for developing and executing Lilly India’s people strategy that aligns with the overall organizational vision, core values and business objectives.   He joined Lilly in 2011 as Associate Director HR and since then has managed different assignments and roles in HR Business Partnership, Global Compensation and Six Sigma. Most recently he was the Director Corporate Affairs, Pricing, Reimbursement and Access at Lilly India and was responsible for managing market access, product pricing, public health initiatives, corporate affairs and communications..   Prior to Lilly, Anant worked with Mercer leading HR consulting assignments across different industries, and with Accenture playing a key role in the company’s expansion in India.   Anant is a Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Allahabad and an MBA in HR from XLRI Jamshedpur.   Now based in Gurgaon, he considers his mission to establish Lilly India as a high performance organization, a market leader in diabetes segment and an employer of choice. His vision is to bring the best of Lilly to the Indian patient and leverage the Indian potential for Lilly.   Edgard holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello and has completed his Post Graduation in Business Management from Washington University in St. Louis.
