Biography
Dr. Prakash A. Mody is the chairman and managing director of Unichem Laboratories Ltd. He is the son of the late Mr. Amrut Mody, the founder and promoter of Unichem. He completed his post-graduation from University of Mumbai. He is also a Graduate Alumni of Harvard Business School. He has done his PhD in organic chemistry. He is the former president of the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance, the industry body representing the National Pharmaceutical Sector. Dr. Prakash A. Mody is a member of the company’s Stakeholders’ Relationship Committee and the chairman of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee. He also acts as an independent director of Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited.
