Biography

Prof. Bechan Sharma has received his PhD in Biochemistry from Banaras HinduUniversity -Varanasi, India during the period of 1988. Currently, he is working as a Professor of Biochemistry in University of Allahabad, Allahabad-India. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as a Chairman, Biochemistry Department. He is serving as an Chief Editor/Associate Editor/Editorial member of several reputed journals like Cellular and Molecular Biology -France, International J. Pharmacy and Pharmacological Research, Journal of Environmental and Occupational Medicine (JEOM), China, Journal of Eco-Physiology and Occupational Health (JEOH), India, Int. J. Antivirals & Antiretrovirals (Omics Publishing Group),USA, and 17 other international journals. He has authored more than 90. research articles/books. He is a member of American Association for the Advancement of Science, USA, Society of Biological Chemists, India, Indian Science Congress Association, India, International Forum for Public Health, Shanghai, China and three other National Scientific Societies in India. Prof. Bechan Sharma research interests are Molecular Biology of HIV-1, Biochemistry and Biochemical Toxicology.
