Biography

Teaching undergraduate students of B.Sc. (Hons.) Zoology and B.Sc. Life Sciences at Sri Venkateswara College as an Assistant Professor on Ad-hoc basis from February 15, 2011 till date.   Total Teaching Experience: >6 years Subjects: Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Bioinformatics, Immunology. Worked on whole genome sequencing of the bacterium, Amycolatopsis mediterranei S699 under the supervision of Prof. Rup Lal and have been awarded thesis on 16th February, 2012 on the topic “Targeted Gap Filling of the Genome of Rifamycin Producing Actinobacterium, Amycolatopsis mediterranei S699 and Exploring Genomic Data of Ninety Actinobacteria for Phylogenetic, Codon Usage and Metabolic Analyses”.
