Biography
Varalakshmi.M. MSc (Nursing) (Osmania Govt.CON), MBA, PhD (Indian Nursing Council aegis with RGUHS) .She has her PG Diploma in Bioethics offered by ICMR under the umbrella of IGNOU. She has done short courses in Basic & Specialized courses in Disaster Management (NIDM), Project Management, Quality assurance in Teaching-Learning and Gender Studies. She served about a decade in clinical practice and worked at various capacities like Assistant Professor and Principal before joining to School of Medical Sciences. Her interest and passion is to contribute to the Holistic aspects of health with Preventive and Promotive strategies. She believes in “Life long learning and facilitating learning”; believe in innovative & interdisciplinary approach to value based Education. Coordinated Nursing program in the School. Envisages contributing growth of Nursing Education & Research at higher education level.
Research Interest
Adolescent and Geriatric Health. Behavioral management strategies for wellbeing and NCDs prevention& risk reduction strategies at Community level.
