National – Central Scientific and Industrial Research Institute(CSIR,RAB) ,Department of science and technology(DST),Rajib Gandhi Drinking Water Mission (Ministry of Water Resource, New Delhi). Regional- - Arsenic Task Force(Govt of west Bengal ), State Technical Committee on water issues(Govt. of West Bengal ),West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCP steering committee ).
Research Interest
His main research interests are as follows Geochemistry and hydrogeology; artificial leaching testing, identification of safe aquifer, safe drinking water supply. Wastewater reuse programme for crop production. Redox chemistry; surface chemistry. Hydrogeology; geochemistry; modeling. Geochemistry; analytical techniques; sediment geochemistry. Geochemistry and mineralogy; modeling. Water quality and treatement ,use of membrane technology. Laborotorical experiment on contaminated soft sediment,Synchroton analysis,Geo-chemical modeling and isotopic analysis. Public Health issues on Arsenic exposure,bio-marker analysis, risk analysis. Field scale experiment on arsenic mobilization/immobilization,geo-chemical modeling,release mechanism.
