Mr. Ashish Asopa

Biography

Mr. Ashish Asopa is currently Working as Assistant professor (Finance and Accounts) in Department of Commerce and Management Studies at University of Kota. In my research work I am exploring the use of hedging tools by the handicraft industries in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Besides doctoral dissertation my research experience comprises of Participating and presenting paper in several international and national level conferences on various themes. I am committed to the interdisciplinary approach in teaching and research. Rather than simply lecturing a class, I strive to cultivate an interactive environment in which students can express themselves freely in meaningful ways. I emphasize critical thinking; need to associate the learning with the broader context and with its practical implications. I have been awarded Junior Research Fellowship by UGC and also been awarded ‘Double Name : Ashish Asopa Designation : Assistant Professor Area of Interest : Finance and Accounts Email : asopa84@gmail.com Star performer award’ every year for providing above ninety percent University results. I was member of the team that organized ‘National Seminar’ and ‘National Conference’. And was also Coordinator of State Level technical cum cultural Management Fest ‘Abhivynajana’ organized every year by JIET Group of Institutions. Along with my teaching assignments I am working as Executive committee member for ‘Entrepreneurship Development cell’ at JIET which also take care of ‘Industry Institute Interaction’. Besides this I am holding position of ‘Faculty coordinator’ and ‘Proctor’ in Department of Management Studies. I looking forward to this opportunity to work with University of Kota.
