Biography
Dr. B. Sannappa completed Ph.D. in Sericulture Science, working has Professor in University of Mysore. He was awarded with Recipient of University of Agricultural Sciences Resident Merit Scholarship for the Ph.D. (Sericulture) Programme. Recipient of University of Agricultural Sciences Gold Medal for obtaining Distinction in Ph.D. (Sericulture) Programme. Qualified in the National Eligibility Test held in October 2001 in the Professional Subject - Agricultural Entomology conducted by the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board, New Delhi. Award of Excellence - International Conference on Society, Politics, The Economy and The Environment, 24-26th July 2001, Texas A & M University, USA and UAS, Bangalore. Young Scientist Award for 2002-03 – National Scientific Award – Awarded by the Society for Eco-Sustainable Development, Lucknow for significant research work in the field of sericulture. Best Oral Presentation Award in Non - Mulberry Session – National Seminar on Sustainable Sericulture, 1-2 nd February 2003, Society for Eco-Sustainable Development and Regional Sericultural Research Station, Central Silk Board, Dehradun held at Lucknow. Best Poster Presentation Award in Mulberry Session – National Seminar on Sustainable Sericulture, 1-2 nd February 2003, Society for Eco-Sustainable Development and Regional Sericultural Research Station, Central Silk Board, Dehradun held at Lucknow.
