Biography
Dr. Dr.G.Kariyappa has received his PhD in South Indian Art and Architecture. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor and Chairperson in University of Mysore. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Associate Professor. His research has included South Indian Art and Architecture MuseologyBased on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as Prof. H.D. Sankalia Memorial Gold Medal for securing highest marks in the M.A. examination at Deccan College (1999), Dr. Malathi Nagar Award for obtaining highest marks in the course paper on Ethnoarchaeology at Deccan College (1999). He is a Life Member of Karnataka Itihasa Academy, Indian Society for Prehistoric and Quaternary Studies.
