Biography
Dr. Dr.G.Kariyappa has received his PhD in. South Indian Art and Architecture. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor and Chairman, BOS & BOE. in University of Mysore. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as, Associate Professor. His research has included South Indian Art and Architecture Museology, Epigraphy and Tourism. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as A.N. Upadye Gold Medal for the Ph.D. He have authored 5 research articles. He is a Life Member of Karnataka Itihasa Academy, Indian History Congress, South Indian History Congress, Mysore University Teachers Association, Mysore University P.G. Teacher Association.
