Dr. S. L. Belagali completed Ph.D. in Centre for Environmental Science, working has Professor, in University of Mysore.He awarded with holder of the Government of Karnataka Scholarship for passing M.Sc. examination in First Class at the First attempt. ii. Holder of the National Overseas Scholarship for Study abroad, awarded by the Ministry of Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi. Area of Specialization Methods in Organic Synthesis, Biosynthesis of Natural Products, Spectroscopy for Organic Chemists, General Bio-Chemistry, Enzymology, Current Highlights in Organic Chemistry.
