Biography
Bharat Lal Meena has received his M.Sc. (Physics), University of Delhi, During the period of 2010 and Pursuing Ph. D in IIT Kanpur, since 2010. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. His Area of Specialization is Biophotonics: Experimental approach for diagnosis of cancer at earlier stage with polarized light. His research interests have been in the area of Biophotonics, attempting to understand tissue fluorescence and light scattering in human tissue environment and to evaluate its use for diagnosis of pre-cancers. Recent focus lies in the development of portable device for detection of cervical cancer at early stage, using polarized light. He was Awarded Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award (GYTI) 2016. He has a Patent on “System method and device for diagnosis of cancer based on polarized fluorescence” Patent number: 3052/ DEL/2015 (September 24, 2015). He is a Member of Optical Society of America (OSA).
Research Interest
