Dr. Abha Jain Nagawat

Biography

"Dr. Abha Jain Nagawat has received her PhD in University of Rajasthan, Jaipur on topic Centre State Financial Relations in India with Special Reference to Finance Commissions. During the period of 1987. Currently, she is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Economic Administration and Financial Management, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Her area of specialization is Economics. She is a member of Indian Commerce Association (R056), Indian Accounting Association (JP230), Rajasthan University Women Association, Rajasthan University Teachers Association and Rajasthan University and College Teachers Association- Rashtriya. Special Contributions: 1. Based on my study on Potentials of NBIC technologies in rapid techno economic development, University of Rajasthan took the initiative to create the Center for Converging Technologies at University Rajasthan. The centre imparts quality education in the frontier areas of Nanotechnology, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Information & Communication Technology and Cognitive & Neuroscience (NBIC). 2. Actively contributed in the Design of EAFM and commerce courses at University of Rajasthan. 3. Actively contributed in the Design of Development Economics and other commerce and management related courses at CCT at University of Rajasthan. 4. Trained a number of teacher participant of Refresher Courses in Information Technology in making use of IT in education, e-content development and research. 5. Active contributions in corporate life and extracurricular activities organization, coordination and mentoring at University Maharani College and Department of EAFM. 6. Played active role in the Internal Quality Assurance Cell in preparing Self Study Report, ERD, Criterion wise Inputs etc as Member of the IQAC. "
