Biography
After MPhil and Masters Degree in Mass Communication from the Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University in Wardha, Maharashtra, Anil Mishra cleared the prestigious UGC-NET exam in Mass Communication and Journalism in 2012. He submitted his doctoral thesis on "Study of Indo-Pak Media in the context of Peace Process" under the supervision of Prof. Ram Sharan Joshi at the same university in Wardha. Besides participating in several seminars and conferences, he has written and translated various articles for prominent national dailies and magazines like Jansatta, Dainik Bhaskar, Lokamat Samachar, Samkaaleen Teesari Duniya, Jan Media, Kathadesh. He is keenly interested in a number of crucial areas of research such as the Role of Media in War and Peace, Geo-political Issues of South Asia and Media, Global Media Business, Digital Journalism, Critical Pedagogy and Media Studies. One of his special abilities is fluency with several languages - besides Hindi and English, he is quite comfortable in Urdu and Marathi.
